Global Training Development Professional
I lead the global training program at Edifecs as a member of the HR/Talent Management team. In this role, I am responsible for designing training and delivering instruction, employee performance management, enhancing employee engagement and other corporate initiatives. I am also available as a resource to employees with a tricky conflict situation to resolve or who want to enhance their communication skills. I work with teams in the US, India and Eastern Europe.
I also mentor trainers in training in subject areas as diverse as personal finances, telecommuting and mentorship.
Before joining Edifecs, I trained and coached more than 3,000 clients to communicate effectively, run more efficient meetings, and resolve conflict in their professional and personal lives.
I am an adjunct faculty member at Antioch University, Seattle and the author of Graduating from Guilt (PuddleDancer Press, 2010). I am frequently a featured speaker for non-profit groups and was a panelist at the National Communication Association 97th Annual Convention (2011, New Orleans).
As a volunteer, I teach communication and conflict resolution skills to the inmates at the women’s prison in Gig Harbor, WA several times a year.
Training participants describe my teaching style as efficient, creative, genuinely supportive and even hilarious!
Even though my most recent experience has been in the communication field, I have a combined total 15+ years of experience in training, coaching and curriculum design in many areas.
